





Rotary percussion drilling uses an electric or air driven motor with a carbide tipped bit, often hand held though can be rig mounted to avoid overexposure to hand arm vibration.
Drilling contractors use percussive drilling to locate anchor bolts and resin fixing due to the rough finish of the finish bore.
Concrete and Masonary drilling in this way can be cost effective, however it cannot be used to drill through steel.
